Hello guys!!! I hope you are all having a great weekend! For my Muslim brothers and sisters, Eid Mubarak!
If you don't know what Eid al-Fitr is, do not worry. Today's blog post is all about Eid al-Fitr; a Muslim holiday that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Benefits of Fasting
After a whole month of fasting and worshiping Allah , Muslims around the globe gather to celebrate Eid Al Fitr by praying and having some festivities.
In general, people celebrate with their families friends and loved ones. After the morning prayer they treat themselves with great meals. It's also a good occasion to ask for forgiveness from each other for any wrong doings that they've caused; the ones that they were aware of and the ones that they did not know.
It's also an occasion for Muslims to dress up in their finest garments permissible within the framework of the deen (religion) which is as you may know halal aka. modest in fashion. Traditionally, women from various cultures also adorn their bodies with various henna designs (check out mine on Instagram).
Since Eid is marked by the identification of the crescent moon, the actual day of celebration can vary from time zone to time zone / country to country. In Boston, today is Eid and as for Senegal and South Africa, their Eid is tomorrow the 26th.
