Hi everyone! I hope all is going well for you! As for me, I am very excited for the upcoming Eid (post Ramadhan fastivities celebration) We are just a mere 5-6 days away. To learn more about Ramadhan read my previous blog posts: My very first Ramadhan and How to maximize weightloss during Ramadhan.
After a full month of fasting, it's very important to keep the healthy habits we have developed. Fasting can be a very overwhelming experience for the body and that it why it is recommended to take a week or two before Ramadhan , detoxing or any form of fasting really to ease ourselves into fasting/detoxing. That means eliminating bad habits e.g smoking, drinking and consumption of canned/junk food gradually upto the scheduled date of fasting or detox. The same goes for breaking our fasts. It is crucial to ease ourselves out of fast effectively in order to maintain and maybe even improve our health.
These tips are in no specific order and go for both physical health, mental health and spiritual health.
