Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a great weekend! I know I am.
As you can see from the title of this blog post, I am officially a licensed MA Real Estate Agent. I have always had a great deal of interest in real estate but never acted on it until end of last year. Over the past 8 months or so, I have become heavily involved in the real estate industry both in the US and in Kenya.
When it comes to real estate in Kenya, I am the marketing manager for Nairobi Capital, Inc. which is a business finance and real estate company targeting the emerging middle class in Africa. I'll talk in detail about Nairobi Capital, Inc. in a later blog post.
Along with Nairobi Capital, Inc. I decided to move entirely into the real estate industry here in the US as well.
Real estate is an industry that is very vast and commands a great deal of knowledge. Real Estate is tied to every other industry meaning we have to be very knowledgeable of those industries. From finance, media and law, we cover detailed information and master various skills in order to conduct proper transactions.
The journey to achieving my license was not an easy one as I had no prior knowledge of real estate and had to be on a really tight schedule in order to complete my required hours and studies. Along with a baby, a blog and a full time work commitment, it required a ton of discipline and sacrifices.
With discipline, commitment and drive, I passed my Real Estate boards on first attempt. I have so many tips to share so if you are considering real estate, feel free to comment below, like, share and subscribe to the blog. Keep an eye out for a blog post on Nairobi Capital, Inc. how to study for your real estate exam, how to pick what brokerage to work with, pros and cons of being a real estate agent and real estate marketing tips etc.
Periodically, I'll be sharing a lot of information on real estate. Keep an eye out for blog posts EVERY 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th and 30th of the MONTH
Peace, Love and Real Estate!
